Spiritual Alphabet

Our oldest daughter is 2 years old, and she's just starting to learn her ABC's pretty well.  It amazes me how such a little person can soak in and remember so much!

Well, one of her new favorite books (given to her at birth, but we are just now allowing her to get her little hands on it) is her Spiritual Alphabet Book.  We are Christians, and instilling the love of Christ in our girls at young ages is very important to us.  What a wonderful way to do that!  A spiritual alphabet book!  We love it so much, that I wanted to share with you the SPIRITUAL ALPHABET!!

A - A is for the Angel who is watching over me.

B - B is for Believing in things I cannot see.

C - C is for our Creator, who made the world so fair.

D - D is for the Dane of joy and happiness we share.

E - E is for Everything God has made, from big to very small.

F - F is for my loving Friends, who help me when I call.

G - G is for the Grace of God that fills me every day.

H - H, it stands for Heaven - It's where the angels play.

O - O is for the Olive Branch that's carried by a dove.

P - P is for the daily Prayer I send to God with love.

Q - Q is for the Questions I will ask along the way.

R - R is for Remembering the beauty of today.

S - S is for the Spirit that fills my heart with joy.

T - T is for the Truth I tell to every girl and boy.

U - U is for the Universe God made for me and you.

V - V is for the inner voice that guides the things I do.

W - W is for the Wisdom that wells me wrong from right.

X - X is in the eXtra hug I get from Mom at night.

Y - Y is a letter that I love because it stands for Yes! Yes! to love and Yes! to health and Yes! to happiness!

Z - Now we're at the very end; we're at the letter Z.  You find it in amaZing, which is what I am, you see!

This is my Spiritual Alphabet - God made it just for me.  So when I count my blessings, I can use my ABC's!

I absolutely adore this book, as does my 2 year old!  I am so happy to see her learning and most importantly reading and beginning to understand in "easy words" the love of God.  Such a neat book....ALL parents need this book!!
