It's that time of year!! Summer!!
Fun in the sun - sand, water, BBQ's, swimsuits and sandals!
Wait....Sandals??
What about our WINTER feet that have been stuck inside closed toe shoes and boots??
Dry, rough feet are NOT cute in sandals -
no matter what pretty color nail polish you pick out!!
Well, you can pay for a pedicure of course, and what lady doesn't love a good pedi?! But for those of us who spend most of our time at home with children - you know, wake up and do everything revolving around your precious babies then at the end of the day realize you barely ate or had a bathroom break...well, you more than likely don't have time for a pedicure!
And you of course can try products that "shave" your rough skin down...like those egg-shaped deals that literally shave your skin off. (It doesn't hurt, but think about it....ewww!)
Well here's what I do:
All you need are 2 products that will last you a long time!
That's right! This is all you need for Smooth Summer Feet!
I use Stridex Naturally Clear on my FEET after a nice shower or bath. 2 pads are needed (one per foot). Then slather on some nice skin care lotion. This is just Equate brand from Wal-Mart - doesn't have to be expensive! And I prefer non-scented on my feet! (Even though, yes - I am a Scentsy consultant and Scentsy has AMAZING smelling body lotions that I use on my body. I simply prefer non-scented on my feet!)
The acne pads slough off dead skin and adds a little medication which kills bacteria.
The lotion, of course, adds moisture!
Please note: ANY acne pad will work. HOWEVER, Stridex Naturally Clear does not have alcohol - which I assume would DRY your feet even further. That is the reason I choose the Naturally Clear. :) If all you have are acne pads with alcohol, give it a try still and be sure to moisturize those feet afterwards!
I at first did this for a week, and now that my feet look and feel better, I keep it up every few days as I feel necessary!
Now that your feet are SMOOTH -
what are your favorite nail polish colors for summer??
Mine this year are bright purples, blues and of course PINK!
